This page explains what personal information Skellig Michael Tours collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 3 October 2026.
Who we are
Skellig Michael Tours runs Sea Tours and Landing Tours from the marina in Portmagee, Co. Kerry, Ireland. For anything about your personal information, email info@skelligmichael.tours or phone +353 66 948 8022.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or join the Landing Tour waiting list, we collect the details you type into the form. These are your name and email address and, if you give them, your phone number, preferred dates, group size and message. We collect the same kind of details when you email or phone us.
How we use it
We use these details only to reply to you, manage the Landing Tour waiting list and arrange your tour. We do not use them for marketing and we do not sell them. We do not share them with anyone except the service providers below, who handle them on our behalf.
Our legal basis is taking the steps you ask for before a booking, and our legitimate interest in answering questions you send us.
Service providers
- Our website host runs this site and sends form enquiries to our inbox by email.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive.
- We use Plausible Analytics to count visits to the website. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal information, so the statistics we see are anonymous.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to answer you and run your tour, and for any longer period the law requires (for example, for our accounts).
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. Our visitor statistics come from Plausible Analytics, which works without cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@skelligmichael.tours and we will deal with your request within one month, as the law requires.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes to this page
If we change how we use personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
